Frank D. Ciminello a longtime resident of Airmont passed away at home on May 28, 2015 at the age of 81. Frank was born May 7, 1934 to the late Emanuelle and Lucy (Liso) Ciminello. For many years Frank worked as a custodial engineer for the New York City Department of Education. Locally he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Sons of Italy as well as several Senior Citizen Clubs. Frank proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by two daughters Dawn Dingman and her husband Ron, Stacy Chiulli and her husband Tony a brother Nick Ciminello, two sisters Anna Cassara and Lena DeTura as well as his grandchildren Deanna Dingman, Eric Dingman, Brett Chiulli and Taylor Chiulli. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Marie in 2007 as well as his bother Dominick and sister Jenny DeSimone.
Friends may call from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 1, 2015 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Church, Suffern, NY. Interment will follow at F.W. Loescher Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY.
