Eileen Ann Laguna

Eileen Ann Laguna, nee O’Connor, of Suffern, NY passed away on Sunday afternoon March 20 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Eileen was born June 22, 1958 to the late Robert and Veronica O’Connor in New York, NY.

Eileen is re-united in Heaven with her husband Richard, parents Robert and Veronica and Sister Kathleen. Eileen is survived by her children Richard and Ashley, her brothers Bobby and Jimmy, and many cousins and nephews.

Eileen was raised in the Bronx and Suffern. As a child she was enrolled in Irish Dance by her mother. Eileen attended grammar school at Sacred Heart in the Bronx and graduated from Rockland Community College with an Associate Degree.

Eileen worked for the Rockland County Department of Mental Health for about 25 years. Loved ones remember Eileen as sister, mom, cousin, aunt and friend whose loving personality will be missed.

A visitation for Eileen will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, New York 10901. A prayer service will occur Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 4:30 PM, 177 Route 59, Suffern, New York 10901. A private cremation will occur Saturday, March 26, 2022.
