Charles Richard Austin

Born in Pittston PA on August 30, 1932, Charles later moved to Bronx, NY where he graduated from Christopher Columbus High School. Charles had a passion for sports, especially basketball. He was employed at New Life Insurance Company and later, NYC Transit where he retired.

Charles is survived by his partner of 33 years, Barbara Kravitz; sons of his heart, Mark Kravitz and Michael Kravitz and his children, Aliza, David and Jeffrey; children: Debbie Cwiek, June Franzese, Russell Austin and Darryl Austin, and their families; brother, Jon L. Austin (Jodi) , nephews, Duane Austin, Shawn Austin, Ryan Austin and Kyle Austin; niece, Mallory Hill and a host of other relatives and friends.
