Catherine “Kate” Marie McCarthy, a resident of Mahwah, NJ, passed away on July 9, 2023. She was 44. Kate was born on February 3, 1979 in Rockville Centre, NY to Peter and the late Catherine (Donovan) McCarthy.
Kate is survived by her loving father, Peter, caring brothers and sister, Brian (Gretchen), Peter (Lisa), Christopher (Arianna), and Maggie (Brian), adoring niece and nephews Grace, Will, and Teddy, beloved grandmother Patricia Donovan, and many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her mother, Catherine Anne McCarthy.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 14 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Saturday, July 15 at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Church, 125 Lafayette Avenue, Suffern, NY 10901. Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, NY 11379.
