Assunta "Sue" Cancellieri Rago

Sue was born on April 26, 1916 to Alfred and Louise Cancellieri in New York, New York. She was married to Silvio “Dick” Rago who predeceased her in 1983.

Sue is survived by her loving daughters Ellen LaRusso (Nicholas), Carol Doherty and Laura Richardson (Robert), cherished grandchildren Joey, Rick, Christopher, Robert, Christine, Nicole, Laura, Sarah and Nicholas, and adored great grandchildren Clorinda, Erica, Nicholas, Emily, Kaitlin, Giovanna, Matthew, Melissa, Michael, Hailey, J.R., Matthew, Lila and Peter.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 4-8pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 10th, 10am, at Sacred Heart Church, Suffern, NY. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY.
