Ann Marie Eileen (Novak) Aviles was born on July 20th at Methodist Episcopal Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and is the matriarch of the Aviles family. She is survived by her husband, Edmond Duran Aviles, retired executive for General Foods Corporation, one brother, Francis Novak of Palm Coast, Florida., four daughters, Annmarie (Amy) White, Cecilia (Candi) Aviles, Susan Eileen Gaetano, and Melissa Jean Jefferson, and three sons, Edmond Duran Aviles, Robert Alan Aviles, and Brian Keith Aviles. Evidence of her great love of family can be seen in her grandchildren Ann Marie Benson, Brian Paul White, Kimberly White Garcia, Tara Suzanne Roberts, Ann Marie Aviles, Luc Perraton Aviles, Ashleigh Aviles, Nicolette Aviles, Robert Aviles, Gina Marie Aviles, Charles Patrick (Casey) Gaetano, Kelly Ann Gaetano, Krista Marie Gaetano, Brian, Michael and Robert (Robbie) Aviles, Juliann Marie Jefferson, Christopher Duran Jefferson, and Kevin Patrick Jefferson. She leaves behind eleven great grandchildren, five nieces and nephews, and daughters and sons-in- law she loved as her own. Visitation Friday, October 14th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 in Suffern. A Mass celebrating her life will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Suffern at 9:30 AM on Saturday followed by an interment at Ascension Cemetery.
