Every day of our life we meet pious people.They are regularly seen murmuring prayers or doing other acts of piety. You  was not a pious person, you was more, much more.
We sometimes meet religious  people. They faithfully follow the teachings of their religion and encourage others to follow their own.You was not a religious person, you was more, much more.
Every once in a while we are blessed to encounter a truly holy person, a saint of God. They recocognize that their life , all of humanity, indeed all of creation is a gift from God.
The way they live is a constant reflection of God's presence in the world. You was one such person,a saint of God and i thank him for gifting you to me as a daughter.
As i remember what would have been your 31 st birthday on January 6th, I cherish all of the moments we shared. They console and strenghten me now that you are gone.

I remembered the first time I met you in high school. We had a class together, and I recall you being very kind yet, never hesitant in sharing your opinions. You were very outspoken and it was so admirable because when you spoke, whether we agreed with your comments or not, we all seemingly listened. My last memory of you was a few months ago, when you saw that I was in Trinidad and you posted on my wall, "2 doubles with lots of pepper, please"...I laughed when I saw your comment. Three months later, and you're gone... My condolences to your beautiful family. You will be missed.
