Alice Odell

Alice Odell passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the age of 95. She was born in Demarest, New Jersey on May 7, 1915 to George and Mary McClain Tintle. She was married to Louis Odell for over 50 years. She was employed by Lederle Laboratories as a product supervisor in the Product Security Department for over 34 years. She loved playing the piano, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Rockland Community College and Bon Aire Senior Citizen clubs. Alice was predeceased by her loving husband Lou, beloved daughter, Alice, and brother, Nicholas. She is survived by her grandchildren, Patrick Wenz and wife Christine and Donna Cardillo and husband Robert. She is also survived by her two great-grandchildren, Nicole and Gabriella. Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Rt. 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Sunday, August 29th from 7-9PM only. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 30th at 11:00AM at Wanamaker & Carlough in Suffern, NY followed by the burial at Brick Church Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY.
