Alfredo A. Arroyo, a resident of Bardonia, NY, passed away on March 2, 2025. He was 50 years old. Alfredo was born on April 22, 1974 in Nyack, NY to Alfredo S. Arroyo and Linda Sue. He worked for many years as an elementary school teacher at PS 46 in Bronx, NY, and as an adjunct professor in the Master of Science Education Program at Lehman College, also in the Bronx.
Being musically trained in percussion, voice, and general music, he brought his skills and training to various performance venues in school, marching band, and church. He had a warm personality and rousing sense of humor which made him beloved by many over the course of his life. He will be sorely missed by everybody whose life he touched.
He is survived by his parents, and his youngest sister, Rebecca.
He was predeceased by his sister Angela Arroyo Dubois.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 7th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, March 8th at 10am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Brick Church Cemetery, 221 Brick Church Rd, Spring Valley, NY 10977.
