Walter N. Hardy of Largo, Florida , formerly of West Concord and Northboro, MA, died December 9, 2012 in Largo, Florida. He was 84 and the husband for 26 years of Virginia (Manter) Hardy. In addition to his wife he leaves his son, Paul F. Hardy of Greenfield; his daughter, Jeanne (Hardy) Donahue of Hubbardston; sister, Charlotte (Hardy) Tracy; brother, George F. Hardy; step sisters, Jacqueline (Dillon) Hardy; 4 grandsons, Jon and Jay Hardy and Chris and Eric Donahue . He is also survived by his first wife, Shirley (Peinze) Hardy. He was the brother of the late Richard Hardy and the stepson of Mary (Dillon) Hardy. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Duckett-J. S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd. Rt. 20, Sudbury at 11:00 am. Private burial will be in the Spring.
