Tony was born in South Korea on July 6, 1981 and moved to Massachusetts at a young age. He graduated from the Isenberg School of Business at UMass Amherst in 2004 where he was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity and formed many life-long friendships. He recently worked for Mérus in technical accounting and was proud to work for a company helping those with cancer.
His pride and joy in life was his 3 year old daughter, Emmy, who was the center of his world along with his wife Courtney who he referred to as the love of his life. Tony was the center of their universe. He could often be found building towers with Emmy, playing with her at the park, or taking her on trips to the library. Tony loved to cook and spent a lot of time in the kitchen testing out recipes for his family to enjoy for dinner and school lunches. He was an incredibly caring and dedicated father and husband and a devoted friend. His sense of humor and friendliness made him the type of person who made friends within minutes of meeting them. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox, and loved going to games at The Garden and Fenway.
He is survived by his wife Courtney Farrell and daughter Emmy Kim, his parents Warren Ho gyum Kim and Choon sung Kim Cho, his sisters Jae Yeon Kim and Jung Hyon Kim, nephews Min Suk Kang and Hyun Suk Shin, his in-laws James and Susan Farrell, and many friends.
