Robert (Bob) Parker Wilson of Sudbury, Massachusetts passed away November 13, 2023. He was the husband of his beloved, late wife of 42 years, Ruth Anne Wilson, and is predeceased by his parents John and Eva (Moran) Wilson.
Survivors include his four children, Robert Wilson Jr., Scotts Valley, California; Jolie Malone, Colorado; Stephanie Graf, Hochdorf, Switzerland; and Scott Wilson, Clearwater, Florida. Other survivors include four grandchildren, Tyler Wilson of California, Zoe Malone of Colorado and Alice and Emelie Graf of Switzerland; two brothers, Jack Wilson, Carol Stream, IL and Bill Wilson, Glendale Heights, IL; and seven nieces and nephews.
Bob was a dedicated husband and loving father to his four children. He was a successful businessman and a lifetime athlete. As a businessman, Bob sold for National Cash Register (NCR), Digital Equipment Corp (DEC) and multiple start-ups in the hi-tech space. As an athlete he competed in NCAA Division I Football at Northern Illinois University where he was starting half-back for the Huskies. He was also captain of the
Trap and Pistol teams at Maynard Rod & Gun Club. And at the young age of 59, Bob ran the 100th Boston Marathon. Post retirement, Bob enjoyed refereeing, riding motorcycles and smoking cigars.
Bob was known for his wit and always had a joke ready to keep everyone laughing. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
