Peter Henry Lemieux, of Ashland, MA, passed away on February 25, 2024. Born in Plymouth, MA on November 18, 1949 to Henry Lemieux and Mary “Louise” O’Donnell.
He attended high school at Thayer Academy, undergraduate at Harvard College, and received his PhD in Political Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He taught Political Science at the University of Rochester and Massachusetts Institute of Technology for several years before going into his own consulting business. After retiring, he kept up with his passion for statistics by blogging about polling and sports.
Peter is survived by his beloved daughter Emily McCain and husband Taylor of Chappaqua, NY as well as his loving cat Zoe.
A memorial service will be held at Harvard Memorial Church, 1 Harvard Yard, Cambridge, MA on April 11th from 1 to 3pm. Parking will be available.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Peter’s memory to the Animal Rescue League of Boston, MA, where Peter adopted cats Luna and Zoe.
