Lorraine T. Griffin-Belair

Lorraine T. Griffin-Belair (Burns) of Needham, MA, formerly of Sudbury, passed away on May 29, 2024 at the age of 95. She was born in Medford, MA on July 2, 1928 to Arthur A. and Ethel Rose Burns (Driscoll).

Lorraine graduated from Girls Catholic High School in Malden in 1946. She worked for New England Telephone and Telegraph in Boston. Lorraine was passionate about gardening, dancing, and a well-made lobster roll.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Ronald J. Griffin and her second husband Jerome R. Belair, as well as her brother and only sibling Robert A. Burns, who she adored.

Lorraine is survived by her beloved children Bonnie Griffin, Judith Salerno and Anthony, Barry Griffin and Marie, William Griffin and Marykate, and Brian Griffin and Mary. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Kyle Griffin and Katelyn, Bridget Griffin, Owen Griffin and Erin, Christopher Salerno, Gabriella Salerno, Patrick Griffin and Matthew Griffin, as well as five great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held in the Duckett - J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road, (Rt. 20) Sudbury, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Ascension Parish (Our Lady of Fatima), 160 Concord Road, Sudbury, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Wadsworth Cemetery, 74 Concord Road, Sudbury.
