He was 87 and the beloved husband of Sybil A. (Stone) Dalton. Born in Boston July 11, 1928, the son of the late Jesse M. Walsh, Sr. and Viola (Whitney) Walsh; he was raised and educated in Belmont. “Jess”, a Marine Corps Veteran, attended Wentworth Institute of Technology, and was employed for seven years by Raytheon prior to establishing his own business which he operated in the construction of residential and commercial properties in various areas in Massachusetts. In moved to Sudbury in 1956 where he and his late wife, May (Rhynd) Walsh, raised their family.
In addition to his wife Sybil, he leaves his children and their families: Christine Gray and her husband John of Rollingsford, NH and their children, Patrick, Jane, Michael and Brittany; Debbie Walsh and her husband Gene Seager of Shirley, MA and their children Jennifer Moynihan, Catherine Janda and her husband Zdenek; Patty Brogna and her husband Bill of Sabastion, FL; Jackie Walsh of Sabastion, FL and her daughter Keri-Lynn Maroney; Jessica Lewis and her husband Dan of Scarboro, ME and their children Danielle, David, Eric and Theresa; Jesse Walsh III of Dennis, MA and his children Stephanie and Jesse Walsh, IV; Verna-Lee Campbell of Yarmouth, MA and her children Christine Thomas and her husband James, and Sean; Stacy Bradley and her husband Brian of Dennis, MA and their children Rob and his wife Cassie, Billy and his wife Emily; Rob and his companion Holly McGregor of Medway, MA.and Erica .He was the Brother of Barbara Ann Daley of Chatham and Whitney Walsh and his wife Pat of Lakeland, FL. Additional children are Janine Hartwell of Maynard, MA and her children Chance and Jake; Allison White and her companion James Donovan of Medford, MA and children Brenna and Colin; and Tracy McCue and her husband David of Wilmington, MA and their children Tierney and Riley. He also leaves 10 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services Tues., April12, at 12:00 o’clock Noon at the Duckett-J. S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute,
656 Boston Post Rd., Rt. 20, Sudbury. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 o’clock Noon prior to the funeral service. Interment to follow at Mt. Wadsworth Cem., Sudbury.
