Jeanne H. O'Shea

Jeanne O’Shea, 92, from Sudbury MA, passed away on January 4th, 2024. She is predeceased by her husband John O’Shea, son Sean O’Shea, and seven siblings. She leaves behind her daughter, Erin O’Shea Weir, son Brian (Yvonne Gutierrez) O’Shea, grandson Gage O’Shea, and many nieces and nephews.

Jeanne was born in Boston, MA in 1931. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Brookline, MA in 1948, then went on to earn her B.S. degree in Business Administration from Boston University. She worked first with her husband, John O’Shea, at Fitchburg Colonial Aviation. Later in her career she worked as a Marketing Communications Specialist for Digital Equipment Corporation for 17 years.

Jeanne was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, aunt, godmother and friend. She was the driving force of her family. She welcomed everyone into her home, and was happiest in a room filled with her loved ones. She enjoyed vintage Cadillacs and music, especially by Frank Sinatra and Barbra Streisand. Her wit and dry sense of humor will be sorely missed.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Jeanne’s life on Sunday, February 11th, 2024. It will be held at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, 72 Wayside Inn Rd, Sudbury, MA 01776, at 11:30 AM.
