Gary B. David

Age 72, of Hopkinton, MA, formerly of Berkley, passed away May 21, 2023. Born in Weymouth on March 24, 1951 to the late Ray P. and Anna David (Hatfield).

Gary grew up in Weymouth where he attended school. He worked as a lineman with Verizon for 40 years before retiring in 2011. He later worked part time for U-Haul.

He was an avid horseman and had horses all his adult life with his favorite horse, Shotzie. He did roping, team penning and barrel racing. He raised chicken and turkeys and enjoyed BBQ smoking competitions. Gary loved to travel to PA Amish Country, enjoyed line dancing and was a season ticket holder for the Pawtucket Bruins and Pawtucket Red Sox for many years.

Gary is survived by his brothers, Ron David and his wife Henny of Hernando, FL, Steven David and his wife Karla of Haverhill, MA, Tom David and his partner Bev Rand of Newmarket, NH; his sisters, Karen David and her partner Karen Chiarelli of Hopkinton, MA, and Winifred Reaber and her husband Chuck of Santa Monica, CA. His nephew Brian Reaber and his wife Lisa of Palm Desert, CA; and Kristin, Keith, Brittany, Trevor, Andrea, Austin and Camden. Gary is survived by his partner Donna Lambert.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by Kevin David, Lynda Powers and Ray P. David, Jr.
