Age 93, of Framingham, MA passed away peacefully at home on November 25, 2022. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, son Craig and partner Dorothy Lande. He is survived by his loving children, son Kurt (Eileen) Babick; daughter Ruth (Bill) Scofield; grandchildren Erika and Alexa Babick and Summer and Willow Scofield.
Frank was born on June 11, 1929 to Frank Sr. and Margarete in Boston. Frank attended the Farm and Trade School on Thompson Island Boston Harbor from 1940 to 1944. He played trumpet and drums in their band and was class Valedictorian. He graduated high school from Mount Hermon School in 1946. In 1948, Frank joined the Air Force serving four years as a weatherman for the atomic bomb testing in Nevada and the South Pacific. He was honorably discharged in 1952 and studied Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University on the G.I. bill. After graduating college, he started his job at Raytheon where he had a 36-year career working on the radar and defense missile systems such as the Hawk Patriot surface-to-air missile.
In 1989, Frank retired and spent his time gardening and working on house projects. He was an avid jigsaw puzzler who could be found tirelessly working on puzzles with over 1000 pieces. Frank was the quintessential nice guy, always with a smile on his face and a friendly hello to whomever he met.
