Catherine Cameron Dukelow, 101 of Yarmouthport, Ma and formerly of Framingham passed away peacefully on November 16, 2018. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles W. Dukelow to whom she was married for fifty years.
Born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia February 25, 1917, Catherine moved to Brookline, Ma as a young child and graduated from Brookline High School. Prior to her marriage Catherine was employed as a secretary and resumed her career in later years.
Catherine was active in the First Presbyterian Church of Brookline and upon moving to Cape Cod she worshipped at the First Congregational Church of Yarmouthport. She looked forward to being a Sunday School teacher, and participating in church events.
Upon retirement Catherine and her husband, Charles, relocated to Cape Cod where they both took up golf, played bridge and enjoyed the companionship of family and friends.
Catherine and Charles enjoyed traveling to far off destinations, bringing back wonderful memories, stories and photographs. Of Catherine’s many trips the most memorable was to Scotland, home of her ancestors; and the most relaxing trips were spending winter months in Florida. Catherine was a huge fan of The Boston Red Sox and was happy to learn that the Sox won the 2018 World Series.
As an only child, family became Catherine’s core value. Everything she did revolved around family, first as a devoted mother, then a proud grandmother and even prouder great grandmother. Catherine is survived by her daughter Jane Dukelow Goddard and her husband, John of Yarmouthport, Ma; four grandchildren: Sarah Goddard Quinn and her husband, Todd of Wilbraham, Ma; Matthew Goddard of Charlestown, Ma; Andrew Goddard and his wife Katie of Stratham, NH; Kristin Goddard Alicandro and her husband Josiah of Sandwich, Ma; and seven great grandchildren: Olivia Quinn, Caroline Quinn, William Quinn, and David Quinn of Wilbraham, Ma; Joseph Goddard and Weston Goddard of Stratham, NH; and John Alicandro of Sandwich, Ma. Catherine was looking forward to welcoming an eighth great grandchild in early December.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
