Of Worcester and formerly of Framingham passed away on Saturday November 12, 2022 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, he was 32.
Born in Framingham, he was the beloved son of James and Karen (Mason) Grunow. He was the devoted brother of D.J. Grunow of Framingham, and dear grandson of Barbara J. Mason of Spring Hill, FL. He is survived by cousins Justin, Ryan, Britany, Bradley, Vincent, Jocelyn, Finley, Willow, and Indigo. He leaves behind his beloved German Shepherd, Roxanne.
Andy graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury High School and attended UMASS Dartmouth, Mass Bay Community College and earned a AS in Paralegal Studies. He rose to assistant general manager at California Pizza Kitchen’s flagship Boston restaurant at the Prudential Plaza and most recently he worked at one of Boston’s premier restaurants on Beacon Hill.
Charismatic, witty, eloquent, and soft spoken, Andy was adored by all who were fortunate to know him. Charming, funny, and kind, Andy made lasting friendships. HIs hobbies included soccer, reading, writing, traveling, and watching sports, he was an avid Red Sox fan.
His final act was to donate his organs so that at least 3 other lives were saved.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Duckett – J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road (Rt. 20) SUDBURY on Sunday November 20, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 PM. A celebration of Andy’s life will follow at the Sudbury Point Grill, 120 Boston Post Road, Sudbury.
