Salina Elizabeth Miller

Salina Elizabeth (Kanagy) Miller, 76, of Stuarts Draft, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 2, 2016 . Salina, also known as Lina, was born October 14, 1939 in Belleville, PA, to the late Joseph and Leah Mae (Peachey) Kanagy.

Salina was a faithful example of a godly wife and mother who enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She invested many hours of service and prayer for her family and others in the community. Salina enjoyed flowers and was co-founder of Milmont Greenhouses.

Surviving is her husband, Willis, to whom she was married to for 55 years, and her five children, Charlotte Rose (Enos) Miller of Belvidere, TN, Kenneth Lee Miller(Linda) of Stuarts Draft, Salina Ruth (Duane) Weaver of Stuarts Draft, Joseph Eric Miller (Crystal) of South Boston, VA and Willis LaVerne Miller (Ruth) of Stuarts Draft. She had 31 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Salina is also survived by her brother, Ben Kanagy of Guthrie, KY.

The family will receive friends at Pilgrim Christian Fellowship, 238 Twin Hill Rd., Stuarts Draft, on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

There will be no public viewing or services at the funeral home.
