Robert Charles Kinese

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 28,1940, the son of the late Stanley and Helen Kinese.

Robert was a graduate of Kent State University in Kent, Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in business and accounting. He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, as well as many other community organizations. Robert and his wife, Linda loved traveling and put that passion into the ownership of Garrett Travel Company in Nashville, Tennessee for 25 years. Robert also loved his cats.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son and young daughter, Leigh Ellen Kinese ; as well as his brother, Stanley Kinese, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife , Linda of 54 years; daughter, Lauren Kinese; son, Mark Kinese and his wife, Barbara; four grandchildren; brother, David Lawler and his wife, Cheryl; sisters -in-law, Sharon Tomalin and her husband, Mike and Sandra Hendrix; a special friend, Leslie Freed; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church,1148 Ladd Road, Waynesboro, Virginia with Rev. Karen R. Taylor officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00p.m. until 6:30p.m. at the church prior to the service.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff at the Augusta Health Hope Center for all the loving care.
