Janice, whom everyone knew as Michele, was born on January 7th, 1970 to Horace H Weeks and Janice Maxine Weeks. She worked as a packager and cook for Little Debbie in Stuarts Draft for 13 years.
Michele is preceded in death by her father, Horace H Weeks; and dearly loved dogs, Whiskey, Piper and Reese; and cat, Patches.
She is survived by her beloved husband, David Berry; her children, Christina Hill with husband Brian of Raphine, and Christopher Berry and girlfriend Samantha Wallace of Waynesboro. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, Nickolas Hill, Aubrey Hill, Thea Berry and Lachlan Berry; her brothers, Scott Weeks and wife Suzi of Spottswood, Tony Weeks and wife Teresa of Raphine; as well as a sister, Carrie Weeks of Lynchburg; and a special uncle, Bobby Harris. Last, but not least, Michele is survived by her special fur family, Cooper and Raven.
Michele was a deeply loved and loving pillar of her family, working hard at home regardless of the task. Cooking, cleaning, and yard work were all in her wheel house. Michele played just as hard as she worked, enjoying playing, spending quality time with her husband, children and grandchildren, who were her world. Never meeting a stranger, Michele would help anyone she ever met who expressed a need. She always went above and beyond for those that she loved and cared for, whether it was family or friends.
Following cremation, the family will hold a Celebration of Life at Raphine Christian Church, where she attended for the past 3 years.
