Carrie Ilene Fox

She was born October 30, 1928 to the late George Stewart and Lena Arehart Mynes.

She was a homemaker and a member of New Covenant Church of Greenville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Kemper Fox, one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include a daughter and caregivers, Judy and Randy Harris of Greenville, three sons; Sid and Linda Frymyer of Rocky Mount, NC, Jay and Angie Fox of Pearisburg, David and Denise Fox of Smithfield, NC, a sister, Madge Snider of Fairfield, nine grandchildren; Bill Fox, Kelly Jackson, Wendy Simpson, Steve Frymyer, Kemper Fox, Dean Frymyer, Dominick Sprouse, Amber Fox, Wyatt Fox, six great-grandchildren; Samantha Jackson, Jake Jackson, Tommy Jackson, Stone Jackson, Tre’ Simpson and XL Simpson.

She also leaves many nieces, nephews and special friends.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday at New Covenant Church in Greenville by Pastor Don Cash. Burial will follow in Timberidge Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Sid Frymyer, Steven Frymyer, Kris Jackson, Kemper Fox, Dominick Sprouse, Jerry Harris and James Robertson.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Wednesday March 5, 2014 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
