Amy was born in Princeton, WV to James E. Booth and Linda L. Booth on September 24th, 1973. After High School, Amy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, and after a 15 year career with the insurance department of UVA, she went on to own her own Daycare Center. Amy will be remembered for her love of animals, children and her family. She was a highly intelligent woman who was successful at any endeavor that she attempted. While not working, Amy loved to shop, especially for shoes, and spent lots of time in her garden, tending an extensive and beautiful flower collection.
Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents and a brother, J.C. Booth.
Amy is survived by her parents, James E. Booth of Florida, and Linda L. Booth of Stuarts Draft; as well as her daughters, Alsatia Booth with husband Josh Lindsay of Waynesboro, and Annaliese Booth of Stuarts Draft. In addition, she is survived by her granddaughter, Miriam; a sister, Pamela Booth; her niece Hailey Henderson; and her fiancé of 18 years, Daniel Liston.
Following cremation, a private family gathering will be held. There are no public services or visitations scheduled at this time.
