Wendy Lynn Chadwick

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce that Wendy Lynn Chadwick (Morissette) of Hobe Sound, FL passed away on August 6, 2023 after a lengthy battle with breast cancer. She was born in 1954 in NC. She grew up in Brattleboro, VT, graduating from Brattleboro Union High School and later earning an Associates degree from the University of New Hampshire. She worked in the restaurant industry for 30 years before expanding her skills and sharing her talents to work for Riverwood’s retirement community where she was a beloved Concierge. She shared her effervescent personality and positive attitude with the elderly residents every day. Wendy excelled at connecting with people wherever she worked.

Wendy loved the water. She lived within minutes of the coast for most of her adult life, including NH, CA, SC, and FL. She loved to travel by boat and took many cruises large & small with family members during her life.

Wendy was an extrovert who recharged by being with others, and could light up a room with her vivacious, friendly personality. She loved to entertain friends and family and was always up for a game of cards.

In 1993 she married Phil Chadwick, the love of her life. She doted on her three nephews so much that many in the family simply referred to her as “Auntie”.

Wendy is survived by her loving husband Phil, his brother Kenneth and her niece Elisha, mother Elsa, sisters Roxanne, Mikell, and Tara, and nephews Max, Nate, and Calvin and brother in law Bryan Archibald. No funeral service will be held.
