Suzanne Beatty

A resident of Stuart since 1977, Suzi was born in White Plains, New York, in 1945. She received her B.A. from the University of Florida in 1968 and continued her education twenty-five years later graduating from Indian River State College with a nursing degree.

Suzi was a member of the University of Florida Alumni Association as well as an avid Gator booster. She loved her Gators and there were few things that came in orange and blue that she didn’t buy!! She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Colonial Dames and an active member of First Baptist Church of Jensen Beach

But most of all, Suzi loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. We will all miss her dearly.

She is survived by her loving husband of forty-three years, Pat Beatty of Stuart; son, Bob Beatty (Candy) of Franklin, Tennessee; daughter, Bethany Quinn (Sean) of Pensacola Beach, Florida; son, Brian Beatty of Stuart; step-daughter, Gwynne Beatty of Fort Lauderdale; brother, Chuck Coty (Debbie) of Seffner, Florida; and four granddaughters on whom she doted: Ryan Beatty, Mackenzie Quinn, Kaelyn Quinn, and Tyler Beatty.

A memorial service will be held on February 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Jensen Beach.

In lieu of flowers, Suzi would want memorial contributions made in her honor to the ministries of First Baptist Church Jensen Beach, 1400 NE Jensen Beach Blvd, Jensen Beach, FL 34957.
