“Sue”
Susan Ann Schwartz, age 85, was born on October 28, 1934 and passed away on May 20, 2020, in Hobe Sound, Florida. Bob, her husband of 63 years, best friend and love of her, life passed away four months earlier. After a brief separation Bob and Sue have been reunited and are still having their best life together.
She was born in Englewood, New Jersey, the second of two daughters to Edward and Virginia Davis. She spent her early life Rockville Centre and Oak Beach, New York, She graduated from Southside High School in 1952 and attended a nursing program. She married Bob on April 1, 1957 and they embarked on a journey which spanned the next 63 years culminating in a lifetime of adventures, achievements and enriching experiences for themselves and their family. She had been a resident of Hobe Sound for the last 30 years. Her passion was her family, friends and the beach.
Sue loved life and touched so many of those around her with kindness, strength and generosity up until her last breath. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends who have all truly been blessed to have known her.
Sue was predeceased by her husband, Bob, and her sister, Joy Davis.
She is survived by her three children: Virginia Cataldo of Jupiter, Florida; Robert T. Schwartz (Colleen) of West Babylon, New York; and Monica Aker (John) of Williamstown, New Jersey as well as eight grandchildren: Nick Cataldo, Sarah Fauvell, Alexis Cataldo, Kyle Fauvell, Amanda Schwartz, John Aker, Bobby Schwartz; and Meghan Schwartz and two great grandsons, Carson and Cooper Cataldo.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 4 to 6 o’clock in the afternoon at Aycock Funeral Home Young and Prill Chapel, 6801 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, Florida.
