Born in West Haven, Ct, she had previously lived in North Branford, CT before relocating to the Stuart area 30 years ago.
She was a homemaker and a member of Tropical Farms Baptist Church in Stuart.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Doug Parsons of Franklin, NC; Donald Parsons of Charleston, SC; Steve Parsons of Palm City, FL, and Rod Parsons of Stuart, FL; daughter, Elaine Post of Stuart, FL; seventeen grandchildren, and thirty great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, Earl; her son, Gerry, granddaughter, Brittany, sister, Katherine Rosinus, and brother, Chester .
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Tropical Farms Baptist Church in Stuart with interment to follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, FL.
