Robert "Bob" Orzack was born in Jersey City, N.J., on December 18, 1936, to parents Mary and Stanley Orzechowski.
Growing up in Bayonne, N.J., Bob graduated high school in 1954 from St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City, where he played on the football team and was a proud alumni. He graduated from St. Peter's College in Jersey City in 1958 with a degree in Economics. Bob served in the United States Army from 1958 until 1964 in the Medical Battalion and as a Tank Commander. He later earned a master's degree from Seton Hall University.
After serving his country, Bob lived in Edison, N.J. and Colonia, N.J., before moving to Stuart after retiring from Alexander & Alexander, where he was an Account Executive in Manhattan. He owned a home in Stuart since 2004.
Bob was an avid fisherman, a New York Giants season-ticket holder for several years, and a huge Notre Dame football fan who rarely missed a Fighting Irish game on TV. He especially loved being "Grandpa" to his five grandchildren.
Bob was predeceased by his wife Patricia and sister Carol Tatarowicz.
He is survived by son Owen Orzack and his wife Anne Byrnes of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; daughter Maura Haley and her husband Rich of Colonia, N.J.; son Robert Orzack and his wife Leslie of Succasunna, N.J.; grandchildren Ian Orzack, Katherine Haley, Allison Haley, Liam Orzack and Reese Orzack.
