Lorina I. Goulet

Lorina I. Goulet, 83, of Hobe Sound, Florida passed away peacefully amongst family on March 14th, 2025 of an aggressive form of cancer. She was survived by the love of her life, husband, Normand J. Goulet and by many beloved family members including daughter Victoria Hamilton Smith and husband Walter of Hobe Sound, FL; daughter-in-law Lorna Hamilton of Farmington, CT; son-in-law Larry Smith, Bossier LA; son-in-law Angel Bermudez Oakland Park, FL; stepson Normand J. Goulet Jr. and wife Mara of Hobe Sound, FL; stepdaughter Theresa Goulet and husband Donald Walker of Jupiter, FL; sister Lucille Laferriere Rinkendorff of Jensen Beach, FL; brother Willard Laferriere of Windsor, CT; brother Donald Laferriere and wife Madeline of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother Ronald Laferriere and wife Carolyn of Eagle Lake, ME; brother Dana Laferriere of Eagle Lake, ME; She was also survived by many, many, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved very much and loved her back even more.

She was predeceased by her son Douglas Hamilton; sister Bertha Laferriere Sevigny and husband Larry; sister Loretta Laferriere Albert and husband Fern; brother Richard Laferriere and wife Deenie; brother Ernest Laferriere and wife Marie; Herman Laferriere and wife Lorraine; sister-in-law Flora Laferriere and brother-in-law William Rinkendorff; stepson Robert Goulet; stepdaughter Joanne Smith.

Lorina loved keeping her gardens immaculate and keeping them well decorated during all of the holidays. She really enjoyed playing cards at the family gatherings with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time with all of her friends and teaming up to organize events within the Eaglewood Community where she lived. She loved golfing in league events and really got excited when it came to the annual neighborhood tournament always hoping to proudly raise that championship flag for the neighborhood.
