Lena Cappetta

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Cappetta had previously lived on Long Island, NY before settling in the Hobe Sound area in 1983

She was a hair dresser prior to taking on the full time job of raising her 6 children: a job she truly loved. She was a extraordinary cook , creating elaborate Italian meals for her adoring family. She had caring friends in her community who she spent time with playing cards and having lunch dates.

Mrs. Cappetta attended St. Christopher Catholic Church in Hobe Sound.

She is survived by her children, Christine Johns (William Linthicum AKA Bill Lynn) of Fort Pierce, FL; Lisa Brock (Dr. Donald Brock) of Madison, NJ; Richard Cappetta (Janice Cappetta) of West Islip, NY; Michael Cappetta of Hobe Sound , Fl; Joanne Cappetta (Gary Muenzen) of Florham Park, NJ and Claudia Cappetta of Morristown, NJ and Jupiter, FL; thirteen grandchildren , eight great grandchildren , and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Cappetta was predeceased by her husband of 51years, Guido Cappetta in 2003.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 1:00 p.m. at Aycock Funeral Home Young and Prill Chapel, 6801 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, Florida 34997
