On Tuesday, June 2, 2020, Larry G. Little, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his family, after battling cancer at the age of 73.
A strong man with a big heart, who never met a stranger. Originally from Alorton, Illinois and a Martin County resident for over 40 years. A U.S Navy and Vietnam veteran, retired from Sikorsky Aircraft in 2011, and past Commander of VFW Post 10132.
Survived by his wife of 56 years (Mary S. Denbow) of Palm City, Children (Anna Robb) and Larry G. Little ll of Palm City, (Frank) and Tammy Copus of White City, (Stacy Spurlock) and David Little of Stuart. Grandchildren Deziree’, Bobby, Breanna C, Ali, Mati, Hailee, Brianna L, Abigail, and Paige. Great-grandchildren Kenai, Madix, and Everleigh. Brothers Earl, David, Joe, and sister Dorothy. He was predeceased by his father George, mother Dorothy, brothers Leonard and Bob, sisters Gloria and Linda.
Larry, a man of few words, but many jokes and stories, some factual and others not so factual…loved spending time with his family. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed being on the water searching for the next big one that got away or in the woods hunting hogs, deer, and turkey. “All people die, but not all people live.” Larry Lived!!
A special thanks to the staff at Treasure Coast Hospice who made his last moments comfortable and peaceful with the presence of his family.
