Joseph John Ice

It is with great sorrow to announce the peaceful passing of Joseph J. Ice (Joe) on October 15, 2024 after losing his battle with ALS at the age of 83. He was lovingly surrounded by his family. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran who proudly served his country.

Joe was a resident of Palm City, Florida, for 35 years, previously from Ephrata, Pa.

He lovingly shared 60 years of marriage with Marilyn Hummer Ice.

He is lovingly remembered by his children. Daughter, Melanie Ice (Drew Dechnik) of Palm City, Fl. Daughter, Predeceased, Lori Anne Ice, age 14, of Ephrata, Pa. Jennifer Ice Patterson (Jerry (Deke)Patterson) of Stuart, Fl. Son, Joseph J. Ice II (Joey) (Danielle Ice )of Stuart, FL. Son, Thomas M. Ice (Tommy) (Kerry Ice) of Clinton Township, MI.

He was a proud grandfather of Jeremy Patterson, Joshua Patterson, and Elizabeth Jane Ice, Ashley Patterson and great granddaughter Amiyah.

He is also survived by a sister, Henrietta K. Keller of

Ephrata, Pa. He is predeceased by a brother, Claude Ice of Ephrata, Pa. He is fondly remembered by nieces and nephews.

He will be honored with a Veteran Military service to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ALS Foundation and Hospice of the Treasure Coast.
