He received his early education in Puerto Rico, before relocating to New York at the age of 18. Where he became a chef. After a few years he went to Indiantown, Florida on vacation where he fell in love with Victoria Delarosa. They married in February 1979 and started their journey together. He then started his career as a tractor driver for a citrus company, after retiring he sold ice cream on the weekends in the neighborhood. Jose and Victoria had nine children and raised four grandchildren.
On Sunday November 6, 2022, God called him to his eternal home in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ in Paradise.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Valentin, Maria Santiago and his son Javier Valentin and his two granddaughters.
He left behind to cherishing his loving memories. His wife Victoria and his children, Margarita (Arnic), Isaac, Javier Valentin, Mary Anne Valentin, Daniel Valentin, David Valentin, Jose Valentin Jr., Jamie Valentin, Roberto & Mari Velasquez, Sylvia & Julius Brown. Four children of his heart Jessenia Fernandez, Jonathan Fernandez, Erika Valentin and Jose Antonio Valentin, twenty-four grandchildren, forty-seven great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
He is also leaving behind and friends and church members and in life, his Pastor Rodolfo Mendez, where for many years Jose and his Victoria attended services at, Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana de Indiantown Fl. 34956.
Jose Valentin will be missed greatly and his Memories will be cherished.
