Jessie Curry

Born in Saint Angelo del Pascua, Italy on May 9, 1905,she came to the United States in 1919 with her parents and siblings and moved to Stuart in 1950 with her husband. Jessie was the oldest living resident in Martin County.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Port Salerno.

Survivors include sister, Laura T. Vecchi (nee Tarantini) of Bridgewater, NJ; nephews, Lieutenant Joseph Vecchi, Daniel Tarantino, Joseph Tarantini, and Jack Lardiere; nieces, Julia Fortunato, Jean Richardson, Linda Belsik, Patricia Tarantini, Laura Lee Curcio, and Kathleen Lardiere; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Edward J. Curry; her parents, Pasquale and Julia Tarantini; three brothers; and, two sisters.

A visitation will be held at on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm with a service at 1:30 pm at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, FL. A burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, FL.
