Greg was born in Brooklyn, NY and shortly thereafter moved to Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. There, he was a starter for his high school football team, contributing to the team’s state championship win.
Greg graduated with honors in biology from Rutgers University, earning membership in the Phi Beta Kappa society. Greg then attended Fairleigh Dickinson University's Dental School where he earned the Dean’s Award. He furthered his passion for dentistry by pursuing a post-doctorate program in Prosthodontics at New York University.
Greg practiced prosthodontics in both Stamford, CT, and Manhattan, NY, where he garnered the respect and gratitude of numerous patients. Following this, he established his own practice in Stuart, FL. For more than three decades, Greg dedicated himself to his patients' well-being, bringing smiles and restoring confidence with his exceptional dental care. Sadly, he was forced to retire due to complications arising from a lifesaving bone marrow transplant, a treatment that allowed Greg to gain remission from Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
Outside dentistry, Greg enjoyed playing golf and taking walks with his wife, Patty, whom he was married to for 37 years. Greg's most cherished role was that of a devoted father to his two daughters, Christina and Katie, who filled his life with immeasurable pride and love. He also leaves behind his brother, Bob Klym.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who knew and cared for Greg. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.youngandprill.com for the Klym family.
