Ethel M. Davis

Born in Linden, AL to the late Abell and Susie Mae Rembert, Mrs. Davis previously lived in Palm Bay, Florida before recently relocating to the Owings Mills, MD area. She was a customer service representative for the Walgreens Corporation for 28 years. At an early age, she was a member of the New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and she served in the youth choir and as a Sunday School teacher. She was a graduate of Martin County High School. She also furthered her education in business at Keiser University. She loved interior decorating and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 43 years, Luther J. Davis, SR of Palm Bay, FL; son, Luther J. Davis, JR (Denise) of Owings Mills, MD; daughter, Yolanda Davis of Palm Bay, FL; sister, Arnetta Rembert of Hobe Sound, FL; three brothers, Irvin and Abell Rembert of Hobe Sound, FL and S. L. Rembert of Tampa, FL; and grandsons, Luther III and Laythan Davis of Owings Mills, MD along with a host of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her brother, Leroy Rembert.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hobe Sound with a celebration of her life to be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hobe Sound, FL at 12 Noon.
