She was born on June 5, 1922 in Mt. Airy, Louisiana, the daughter of Walter and Luvinia Millet.
She married her longtime sweetheart, Joseph Lamar Lee on December 24,1941. They enjoyed a life in the Marine Corps for 20 years, then moved to the
South Florida area when Joe began work with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Corp.
After retirement they moved to Indiantown where they spent many wonderful and happy years.
Dorothy is survived by her three children, Patricia, Barbara and Stephen, four grandchildren, Caron, Stephanie, Stacie and Spencer and, five great grandchildren, Kayla, Sean, Ever, Cole and Gage.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 9:30 am to 10:15 am at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Indiantown at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Port Mayaca Cemetery.
