Donnalee MacLachlan Ryan

DonnaLee MacLachlan Ryan, 83, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Martin Memorial South in Stuart, FL. DonnaLee was born in Milford, CT daughter of Harold and Helen (Magrey) MacLachlan. She was a 1958 graduate of East Harford High School and she later resided in South Windsor where she raised 3 children.

DonnaLee worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford and was later transferred to their West Palm Beach location where she worked for over 25 years. She was a resident of Hobe Sound, FL.

DonnaLee loved to dance, sew and cook. Her most notable dishes were meatloaf, potato salad, and fried chicken.

She leaves her daughter Susan MacLeod and husband, Scott of Stuart, FL, and her son, Steven Ryan of Willimantic, CT. She is pre-deceased by her son, LeRoy Ryan and brother, Ronald MacLachlan. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tammy Ryan, Megan Ryan and fiancé Connor Anniello, Matthew Ryan and fiancé Emma Scimone, and Michelle Ryan.

A special thanks to all the lovely caregivers who showed her such kindness, compassion and laughter in her last days; Colene, Rhonda, Deb, Janet and physical therapists Crystal and Patricia. And all the wonderful neighbors, friends and family.
