

Delesa Fay Lucien, 78, passed away August 20, 2014 at her daughter’s residence in Stuart, FL. Born in Dallas, TX, she was the daughter of Artie Lee and Francis Augustina Williams. She had worked for the Burleson School District in Dallas as a Teacher’s Aid and Secretary. Delesa was an accomplished pianist, alto saxophonist, flutist and clarinet player. She was also a vocalist. In addition to her musical talents, Delesa was a photographer and painter. She moved to the Virgin Islands and worked for Hinkley’s Charters. In 1987, she met Jon Lucien, she and Jon were married the following year. They lived in the Virgin Islands for several years before moving to Puerto Rico for nine years, then heading for the states. She was Jon’s business partner. Delesa handled many details including management of Sugar Apple Music, singing backup vocals for his songs and writing the music with him. Delesa will be remembered by her family as a humble and modest person, concerned about others and placing their welfare before her own. He lived her life fully, with no regrets. She was able to travel around the world during her 20 years with her husband, Jon Delesa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister during her live. She is survived by her daughter, Celesa Jane Lucien; granddaughter, Misty Rene Incontrera and Great grandsons, Alexander H. Singleton and Wilder M. Incontrera. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jon Lucien; son, Mark Lee McMickin; half-brother, Bob and half-sister, Marguerite. A Service to Remember and Celebrate Delesa will be 11 AM, Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Serenity Garden at Jupiter First Church, 1475 Indian Creek Pkwy, Jupiter, FL 33458.
