Born in Syracuse, New York, Mr. Salmon had previously lived in Constantia, New York as well as Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1965 before relocating to the Hobe Sound area in 1998.
He was the owner of Redwing Construction for 30 years while living in Constantia, New York.
Mr. Salmon was an avid boater, fisherman and golfer. He was a member of the Lake Shore Golf and Yacht Club, as well as the Fort Lauderdale Country Club.
Mr. Salmon proudly served our country in WWII and was a decorated Bomber Pilot in the Pacific.
He was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Hobe Sound, FL.
Mr. Salmon is survived by his five God-Daughters.
He was predeceased on April 5, 2012 by his wife of 75 years, Mary E. Salmon with whom he raised and loved many Springer Spaniels.
