

Born in Miami, Florida, Ms. Crim had previously lived Gulf Breeze, Florida before relocating to the Stuart area thirty-five years ago.
She graduated from Florida State University and the University of Mississippi where she was the first woman to be elected to the Phi Delta Kappa Honorary Society. Mrs. Crim was also a political and civil rights activist.
She was a librarian with the Martin County School System for twenty years and had worked for Hobe Sound Elementary. Ms. Crim was of the Unitarian faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Sigmund (Jack) of St. Albans, MO; son, Roger Crim (Marna) of Fernandina Beach, FL; sister, Jeanette Orth of Stuart, FL; grandson, Timothy Bagnail (Ebone) of Austin, TX, and great grandchild, Rae Bagmall.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald R. Crim, Sr., who was a former city councilman and mayor of Gulf Breeze, Florida; her daughter, Betty Marie Crim, and son, Donald R. Crim, Jr.
Services will be at a later date.
