

He was born in the Bronx, New York and moved to Rockland County. He was a dedicated husband to Tonianne for 34 years, and a loving father to his twin daughters, Julie and Jacqueline. Jimmy was a very hard worker who committed most of his life to his work. At age 18, he opened his own pizzeria, Jimmy’s Italian Kitchen in Monsey,New York After selling, he worked for the family business, A World of Food Catering, up until his death. Jimmy loved life and the beautiful home he and his wife built. Everyone who knew Jimmy loved his sense of humor. He was always smiling and joking. What he loved the most was spending time with his wife and daughters, whether it was watching a movie or going out for ice cream. Family was the main thing Jimmy valued most of all. Aside from his wife and twin daughters, Jimmy is also survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Julie; his brother-in-laws, brothers, nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends on July 10, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, 73 N. Liberty Drive, Stony Point, New York. The funeral mass will be held on July 11, at 10 am, at Immaculate Conception Church, 26 John Street, StonPoint, New York. A celebration of life will follow at Jimmy’s favorite place, his home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center at MSK Donation in honor of Jimmy.
