Frank J. Tinelli, Sr. passed away on May 16, 2014. He was 72 years old. He was born on January 8, 1942 in Manhattan and grew up in the Bronx. Frank had the honor of being the first Lieutenant of the Stony Point P.D. and was decorated numerous times during his career. He was a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy 112th Session. Thanks to YouTube, Frank had the joy of hearing his band of the 60’s, “The Castle Kings” play the records they recorded. Frank is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 51 years, 3 loving children and 6 grandchildren that he adored. He is also survived by his 3 brothers, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 20th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Stony Point. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 21st, 11am, at Immaculate Conception Church, Stony Point, followed by entombment at Ferncliff Mausoleum.
