1940 - 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Jane Fielding born October 27, 1940 in Chemainus, BC announce her peaceful passing on October 4th. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years George, her children Viola, George Jr. (Susan), Kimberley, her grandchildren Alex, Kurtis, David, Dylan, and her brother Ronald Gammie (Joan).
Margaret loved travelling, crafts, strolling river beds collecting rocks, never threw away any stamps, or let anyone else throw them away. She was a scrap booker before anyone knew it existed. Was always available to poke around shops, or stay up late visiting with family or friends. Her love for her family was expressed in so many ways, she was always there for them, loving unconditionally.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Myositis Foundation of Canada.
