Irvin will be remembered with much love by his wife, Nancy; his children, Glenn (Beth), Lynn Frost (Mike); his step-children, Pat (Janice), David (Sandy), Leeanne Barnett (Joe), Suzanne Hildt (Barry); grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Irvin was predeceased by his first wife, Eleanor; his parents, Louis and Nellie and brothers, Gerald, Clifford, and Melvin.
Irvin was born and raised in the Stony Plain area and farmed there until his retirement in the early '90's. He moved to Edmonton and lived in the west end with his wife Nancy until his passing.
Irvin loved to spend time with his family and especially enjoyed treating his children and grandchildren to dinners out at their favorite restaurants. He and Nancy loved to travel, go camping, and spent many evenings playing cards and games with family and friends. Irv was kind, so enjoyed a good laugh, and loved to start up conversations with those around him. His big bear hugs will be dearly missed
