Gerald leaves behind his loving wife Sally; his children: Cheryle (Ernie), Belinda (Jerrod), and Pamela; grandchildren: Joshua, Gregory, Riley, Devon, Jordann, Brandon, Christian, Faith, Sophia, and Cassidy; great-grandchildren: Kassiys; brother Richard; sister Marlene and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Gerald was predeceased by his parents Michael and Jean Dereniwski, and sister Glenice Cooley.
Gerald was a loving family man. Those closest to him would describe him as strong, funny, smart, caring, gentle, a protector, a leader and respected.
He was a hardworking man and when you would finally find him sitting still it was often to quietly smile at or talk to one of his kids or grandkids.
He was a husband, a soul mate. A father, a hero. A grandfather, a mentor.
