Garrett was born on January 21, 1994 in Calgary, AB but soon moved to Fernie, BC. He grew up loving the outdoors, especially fly fishing and snowboarding, playing the guitar and writing music.
He graduated from Fernie Secondary School in 2012 andthen moved to Alberta where he resided in the Medicine Hat area and most recently, Stony Plain.
He will be remembered with much love by his Father, Gordon Silverthorne (Christine Sweet), Mother, Wendy Bossert, older brother, Justin Burns and younger sister, Charlotte Silverthorne.
Garrett was predeceased by his older sister, Jamie Burns in 2011 and his beloved grandmother, Edna Silverthorne in 2021.
Your bright shining eyes and beautiful smile will always be missed.
A private service will be held at a later date in Fernie, BC.
