Sam was a wonderful Father, Son, Brother, Uncle & Grandpa. He was a true friend to many people and an outgoing person who had a passion for giving to others. He loved to make people laugh and never did he judge anyone. He was full of life and when he walked into the room he was always the light of the party.
Sam is preceded in death by his mother Sylvia Zapata.

Richard Raya III and Celastino Raya. His son Niko (Janet) and their child Emmanuel Zapata and his son Sam Jr. Also his siblings Ronica, Georgiana, Benji, Antonette, Michael and many other siblings including nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Thurs., July 24th from 9am-9pm at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 731 Cardinal Ave., Stockton 95215. Mass Fri., July 25th at 10 am burial to follow, San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, 719 E. Harding Way, Stockton.
